Cancellation/Failed Appointments Policy

At Cherrytree Dental Care, we kindly ask that patients provide at least two full business days’ notice if they need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.

Late cancellations and missed appointments have a significant impact on the practice. They reduce our ability to offer appointments to other patients, disrupt the smooth running of the practice, affect the scheduling of future appointments, and increase the overall cost of providing dental care.

To help us continue offering high-quality care and efficient appointment availability, the following charges apply:

  • Less than two full business days’ notice: £2 per minute of the appointment time booked.
  • Missed appointments (failure to attend): £2 per minute of the appointment time booked.

We understand that genuine emergencies can occur, and these may be considered on an individual basis.

Repeated missed appointments or short-notice cancellations may result in us reviewing your suitability for ongoing care at the practice. In some circumstances, we may decide that it is no longer appropriate to offer further appointments, whether under NHS or private arrangements.
